Celebrate Global Youth Service Day at Servapalooza!!!
What: A Service Festival and Parade of Wishes
PARADE OF WISHES
Youth groups, schools, cheerleaders, marching bands, and clubs throughout San Diego will kick-off this joyful celebration with the Parade of Wishes through Balboa Park. The parade will give youth groups an opportunity to celebrate their service during the year by designing a banner and walking in the parade. The banners will be decorated with the youth group’s wish for our world and how their service is helping to make this wish a reality.
SERVICE FESTIVAL
The Service Festival is full of entertainment involving 50 hands-on service projects, live youth entertainment, raffles, food, vendors and much, much more! The hands on service projects include decorating environmental reusable bags, painting canvases for the Art Miles Mural Project that will be displayed in Egypt, creating books for villages in Uganda, yoga classes for health awareness, and so much more.
Why: To Celebrate Global Youth Service Day, to Engage Youth in Meaningful Service Projects and to Encourage Volunteering throughout the Year.
Who: Youth, adults young at heart, families, groups, volunteers, community agencies, businesses and YOU!!!

Service Hero: No Fees
Servapalooza is free to all participants. There is no registration fee. What's more, if you raise at least $25, you'll qualify as a "Service Hero" and will receive a cool Servapalooza backpack and other goodies (value of $20). To sign up, just click the Participant Registration link on the left.
