eXcel Youth Zone (XYZ) engages youth in community service-learning projects in their classrooms and after-school clubs. Youth work in leadership teams to design, explore, and experience service projects to help meet community needs. XYZ service-learning experts empower youth through meaningful service, leadership tasks, educational enrichment and communication with special guest speakers/leaders from our local and regional networks. The average youth in eXcel Youth Zone contributes 40 hours of service each year. Kids for Peace is an international nonprofit dedicated to uplifting our world through love and action.
